Who is the best coffee shop and what do I look for when buying a coffee
So I am someone who all year round looks forward to the festive coffee's and hot chocolates, that as soon as they come out I have to have one and thank the lord for coffee shops. I love buying a coffee but I do often have one at home now as it does save me money and when continously buying drinks from a coffee shop can add up, but in doing so I want to share my favourite coffee shop and what I look for when buying a coffee rather than make one myself.
It has to be tidy and invitable. There is a Costas in Morden and the coffee their having a Latte tasted awful, yet I will buy a coffee from them in other places and love the Black Forest Hot Chocolate and I do like a Classic Hot Chocolate from Startbucks from the little Starbuck hut at Wimbledon station if I have time before I need to get the train to Epsom.
Often when going for a coffee in a shop the main dining area is nice and spacious, yet the toilets are totally different and unitdy looking and it kind of puts me off, yet the coffee itself is nice and really hits the spot. I do think the food served to be over priced, but see this as a treat and so I will buy food but not all of the time.
If I fancy a Chai Latte I will often go to Cafe Nero and is pricey but now again it is worth it. I do have where I live a Coffee Machine but find the Chai Latte from it, is too sweet.
I was never a friend of Iced Coffees but now I am. I like this in the summer when thirsty and wanting a bit of Caffiene some days in the summer.
Should I go to the Borough Market again as I do visit annually and they do a lovely Winter Cider or Mulled wine and it is about £4.00 and a treat but so worth it.
I am a London gal and is one of the reasons I love being a Londoner.
So, what do you like when having a coffee in a coffee shop and which ones do you would say in terms of favourite is your favourite.
