Mince and potatoes
So being a kid grown up in London the UK I do like classic stuff in my life and my dad would always make mine and potatoes especially this time of the year and just what you needed when the climate had changed to bitterly cold weather and still a lover of this type of food now.
I am a traditonlist when it comes to food and I do live seasonallty in terms of food, but items that I could have again and again.
Items hat can be chucked in a pot is me and I love my slow cooker and miss not having this in my life but going to treat myself to a crop pot as these seem to be a great alternative item to have in the kitchen and let me know if you have one and what they are like, have you found them useful.
Chucking everything in one pot meals are it for me and I love a stew and a caserle for this very reason.
I love to have hot chocolate too and had my second this part of the year and started as of today as I write this post to have a cup tea when I get back home rather than a can of diet coke or Dr Pepper in the evening.
The tea I drink is Earl Grey and what you need as the weather seems to have started to get a bit chilly outside, is adding a slice of lemon and this morning for breakfast had porridge with Golden Syrup and was lovely. Perfect for when the days get colder.
I like to save money on food by using up whatever I got and then buy more bits I need but not too much.
Soups are also great for this time of year and gonna buy some cuppa soups to carry around with me when going backwards and forwards.
So do you like classical food too and what are you go to items in terms of food do you like this time of year. Leave a comment below.
Many thanks for reading,
