Fashion Mum Look Book

Here is a Fashion Mum Look Book, and can you still be fashionable being a parent, with six kids hanging around your legs? 

Well I don't yet have six kids, but yes! With kids we are still ladies who like to lunch and I came across an article in the Metro, about an 1950s mum check this out here:

We think as soon as we become parents that we have to be plain and have our hair up and be in slacks, but no. Yes I like to slug it out, and be in my comfy slouch clothes, but I still like to make an effort on some days too. 

Just because you are now a mum, doesn't mean you can't wear a Skater Dress for example and I have seen this out fit on a new site I came across called Light in a box and I think this is a gorgeous look.

So I chose pieces that will be perfect for the modern mum, with a bit of classy, classic and chic. Some items were more than I'd usually play but with the styles that the Light In A box have and Shein for me if they are going to last me many summers, then perfect I also came across these Boots which can really make these pieces different and has a kind of Carrie Bradshaw vibe. 



I love a pair of Ankle Boots I always have a pair, and white can look really nice and would suit the fashion items above and these are £20.60. So classic modern mum, with style that will last forever and experiment. 

I love clothes and shoes that are comfy but different. I like these cause I like having a set of Cowgirl boots, as you can also wear these with jeans and smart black trousers, well that's how I'd wear them anyway. 

So, just because you are a mum, it doesn't mean that you can't be glam, and plain.

Finding a decent coffee

I love having a my coffee each day and been trying to not buy coffee from a coffee shop all of the time and use the jars of coffee I have and has made a difference but will treat myself to a Costa Coffee for example, but not all of the time. If you add up the amount a coffee from a coffee shop costs it can really damage your bank balance.  I am choosy when it comes to coffee and Greggs for do a decent Latte and is out of a machine rather than a coffee maker, and is cheaper than a coffee shop.  When it comes to a cup of coffee you want it to be smooth and not bitter. Cafe Nero for example I find their coffee too strong and so will go for a Chai Latte or a Hot Chocolate.  They say that Coffee can cause Anxiety which I read in a book, but for me it is different and it wakes me up and find it fills me up, and have to have a cup. I have the Sainsbury's Freeze Dry Jar of coffee and is my favourite out of the others ones, and was once upon a time, would be Kenco but no, not now ...

Being 45 and growing

 As a kid I felt uncomfortable about being a child, because I saw being an adult, it meant that you had more freedom than being a child. Being 45 seemed a long long milestone and now I am 45, gotten to a place where I am okay with my life, and that I have come a long way to feeling good about myself and that I am no longer fearful compared to when I was a kid. I did have a good childhood and feel very lucky with the things I have done through out it, like holiday's in Clacton and Menorca, and seeing shows up London and visits to London Zoo, Chessington Zoo before it became a Theme Park, and it was just the zoo, and getting my ears pierced up London and spent time seeing my grandparents.  There was a time I liked to go out all the time and meet friends for a drink and get plastered. Not so much now, and like having the odd drink, but no over do it.
