Love a Comfort Blanket at the age of 47

I am 47 years of age. How old can you be to have a Comfort Blanket? 


I love being able to sit on the sofa on my laptop with my blanket or just watching TV. It is good to be indoors and have something that can be your meditation and therapy. I like to be in my PJ's a lot because it helps my mind calm down and refreshed to have a proper day and time that is yours and noone is allowed to disturb and be a date with yourself.

Am I too old? 

It brings me so much joy that I am tempted to buy a Christmas one. 

Amazon is my go to as I am not a fan of Christmas shopping in the high street because of it being too busy. 

A comfort blanket is a great gift. Not necessarily a Christmas one as it can only be used once a year but one that can be used all year round and I would not be without one.

My son has one in his room, in Wimbledon in Epsom and he loves it. We like to watch TV in the evening with the blanket we have in the Living room and these are special moments that he can share when he is older and if he has children of his own one day. 

It is great to have things that bring you joy. It does. I am living my childhood in some ways but actually no it is something that I think we need instead of food or shopping. I like shop as it gets me out, but when I don't need anything then I am in my PJs when home in my blanket, living my best life.

Just had a lovely bath with Himalaya Salts and feel so refreshed. No this is not an advert, I just love that I have baths instead of showers now. I love a pair of pyjamas

I am writing a book called Life as a Bedtime girl and she loves home life. She loves her book and bed, married to an Italian and comes and goes as she pleases. Would we like to have a life?  Me in my Christmas PJs It is good to invest in making sure you have a good sleep and having a good set of PJ's can help. I don't buy PJ's all of the time, as the ones I have had have lasted for a long time. I like clothes, including bed clothes that last and it can really help to settle for the evening. Invest in yourself. I have had trouble with sleep and its getting to sleep that I have struggled with, but now I sleep well and having a bath with a pair of lovely and easy wearing PJ's have helped and helps me be productive the next day. Having a nice set of sleep wear has made a difference. I have to have a set that allows my skin to breath and instantly relaxes me.  Then there is bedding. I will admit I not one to wash my bedding all of the time like I know I should, but is a must...

Why I Love a Morning Coffee

I am sitting at my dining table which is in the Living room, creating my monthly Newsletter check out Everyone can build a castle , with my coffee. It inspired me because I know people say too much coffee is bad, which in my case is true but I still love to have a morning coffee.  Picture I took of a Cappuccino  Frappes are off the cards as they give me a bad stomach but normal iced or hot Lattes I am fine with as long as I limit it to two to three days a week, as I do love going for a coffee in a coffee shop once or twice in the week and during the weekend.  I currently have a cafetiere and it is nice but a bit weak, but I like making my own coffee some days rather buying. It can be expensive buying coffees in a shop and why I don't do it everyday.  My mum and Stepdad have a coffee machine which I use it now and again as I have a jar of instant coffee, but would like to invest in a Throffer and be able to have a latte at home.
